Traveling Down the Theological Trail

Hi Everyone! I am excited to begin a blog on our Freedom Church website called Traveling Down the Theological Trail! Why this title? The answer is quite simple, traveling denotes a journey over some distance, and that is exactly what we are doing. We are going on a spiritual journey to do theology and to grow spiritually together!

For example, in a simplistic and literal way, every time we get together and talk about the Lord, we are engaging in theology. For this blog, I leave you with this thought, that no matter what’s going on in the world, or whatever you or me are facing knowing the Lord is of utmost importance!

Jeremiah 9:23-24 says it like this: 23 This is what the Lord says: “Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, 24 but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, declares the Lord, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,”declares the Lord.

As we travel down the theological trail together, we will learn more about the Lord together, see His purpose and will for us, His children, and we will grow together! I’m excited to be on this journey with you, as we will together be Traveling Down the Theological Trail! Until then, walk in His grace and love!
